Versa, Visa!
If the ad did not include a logo; I think it would be trying to advertise some diet pills. There would be total confusion; because, their using a female to promote credit card, which has nothing to due with a credit card. This ad does not depend on selling sexual advertisement, it depends on building credit so the image does not fit the Promoters. What the image does say is that Visa is trying to draw in a younger crowd. It would fit in People magazine due to the fact they have a large audience. I do not beleive of the tattoo was located in a different place, would change the audiences intake of the ad; because, a tattoo has nothing to do with Visa!
DOLCE & GABBANA
What is happening is there is female doing the dishes. You can't really tell what is being sold and what the product is. The women in doing the dishes is dressed pretty thrashy to be doing the dishes. I dont beleive the elements connect to the product, which I believe is the name of the product, which makes it totally confusing. If I was to see the picture without the brand name i would not know what the image was for other than a personal photo; because, it looks like a quick pic someone just randomly took of their girlfriend. If I was leafing thru a magazine I would not stop to read it i would just say to myself, "she better get them dishes done!" LOL. The ad is just to dull and does not grab my attention to bother. this ad could not be veiwed in the light because the dress looks to hi-end to be second-class.

Faceless as a facebooker
What Matters in America, by Gary Goshgarin, there is an article by, Kate Beals, named, "Faceless on Facebook!" The article portrays how we really put ourselves to be seen socially over the internet. To me i totally agree, the reason I agree is that we only post about what we positivly do or see. Nobody really explains on how we have to pay our house notes, car title, or how some struugle to catch up. The statuses we post only shows what we want to tell you (the reader); for exple, got a flat tire today! is only baout the worst thing you might read that we post. But as the publisher we decide to put what sounds most intriguing to the reader so we will not intentionally bore you. The images we post is that we live life with no worries and everything is great on the other end.

Lets go to Disneyland
Disneyland
What is being sold is a trip package vacation to Disneyland. The message sent here is a how Disneyland is the west coast number one destination spot. The audience here is a family going on or looking for a great vacation deal. What else is being sold besides a trip package is trying to monopolize you to go there instead of any place else. The reason being is they must keep a certain quota. The name of the magazine I found it in is called, “Traveler.”
